Leaf, Spine and everything between

I’m Daniel Slyk, a Senior Systems Engineer and CCIE Data Center #69269. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across networking technologies, with a strong focus on data centers, Cisco ACI, NX-OS fabrics, and the architectures that tie them all together.

My day to day work involves designing, operating, and troubleshooting data center networks at scale.

This site is where I document what I learn along the way, design decisions that worked, the ones that didn’t, configurations worth keeping, and lab notes I know I’ll want to revisit in the future.
